Yes, I am in Tennessee, twenty miles north by north east of the Memphis line, a little area known alternately as Rosemark or Barretville.
East of the river, south of the Mason-Dixon line means watermoccasins if you have a pond, which we do. Rattlers are fairly rare, but they are around here. The only copperhead I've seen so far this year lives in the greenhouse, good thing he is fairly relaxed, we're in there all the time.
